Adventure Time has become one of the most popular animated shows on the cartoon network. It’s brightly coloured, wacky world of crazy characters has gained a cult following with children and adults alike and has been placed firmly in the halls of pop culture. So when fan designer Ludovic Piraud’s submitted his Adventure Time character creations on the ideas platform it was no surprise to see it hit 10,000 and enter the review stage. It was then testament to The LEGO Groups awareness of popular culture to see this submission become a reality.

On January 1st 2017, 21308 – Adventure Time was released making it the sixteenth set from the Ideas stable. Packed full of colour this set depicts eight of the main characters from the show in brick form. Now this show may not be to everyone’s liking but there is no denying the shows popularity and appeal amongst the fans and these brick-built versions seem certain to pull in an audience beyond the standard LEGO crowd.

We feel the design and execution of this set captures all the charm of LEGO and the imaginative show itself, but why take our word for it when we have a real Adventure Time expert to hand. Join Mark as he calls on the knowledge of his daughter Emma to let you know what a real fan thinks.
